Abstract

The methods for the synthesis of fluorine-containing organic compounds are highly demanded due to the importance of those compounds in various fields. On the other hand, carbenes are in general highly reactive species, though which various transformations are possible. Carbene chemistry has been recently explored in the development of new methodologies for the synthesis of organofluorine compounds. This short report summarizes the recent advances in this area.
