Abstract
Body-fitted coordinates are used for the computation of viscous and turbulent flow past surface-mounted obstacles. Successful cases of neutral flow and stratified flow past a 3D hill are reported. With the two-equation model of turbulence added, the turbulent flow past two rows of buildings is computed. This paper shows the practicality of such an approach.
