Abstract

How to restore the soft tissue of the esthetic region of anterior teeth is a hotspot in stomatology. Blood extract has been widely used in soft and hard tissue increment technology in recent years due to its simple preparation technology, safe use and high concentration of growth factors. Depending on the preparation method, the blood extract can be divided into three generations: first-generation platelet rich plasma, second-generation platelet rich fibrin, and third-generation modified platelet rich fibrin, concentrated growth factor and injectable platelet-rich fibrin. In this paper, the history and preparation methods of various blood extracts are introduced, and the research and application progress in soft tissue aesthetics of anterior teeth are reviewed.
