Abstract

There are several ways to recover the energy in automobile exhaust, and the thermoelectric transformation is the most promising heat-recovery technology. This paper is seat the basis of the researching background and the application prospect of the automobile exhaust's thermoelectric recovery device. First, there is an introduction about the thermoelectric power generation principle. Then, the paper mainly illustrates the preparation of thermoelectric modules with electrochemical-deposition method and the design of heat exchanger. The thermoelectric power system was concluded which combined with the analysis of the efficiency of thermoelectric system.
