Abstract

Objective To investigate the application of automated micropartide enzyme immunoassays (MEIA) in liver transplantation. Methods By using MEIA, the dynamic changes of CMV IgG,IgM in various stages before and after liver transplantation in 13 patients were determined. Results The CMV infectious rate was up to 30% to 65% in the patients undergoing liver transplantation. Conclusion MEIA has the advantages of strong specificity, high sensitivity, good reproducibility, fast and easy to operate. It is so far the most novel and ideal diagnosis method for determining CMV IgG and IgM. Key words: Automated microparticle enzyme immunoassays; Cytomegalovirus
