Abstract

Allergens are closely related to the occurrence of atopic dermatitis(AD). Studies have verified the effectiveness and safety of subcutaneous injection immunotherapy and sublingual immunotherapy for the treatment of AD. Allergen-specific immunotherapy has been considered to be the only etiotropic treatment that can change the natural course of allergic diseases. Moreover, there have been some new promising immune approaches, such as intralymphatic immunotherapy and epicutaneous immunotherapy, to the treatment of AD.
