Abstract
The progress of additives enhancement with the wet flue gas desulfurization(WFGD) process was studied, and the problems and solutions were pointed out. At the same time, compound additives were presented as promising additives, the results showed that the application of compound additives in FGD device is economically feasible. Of course, how to find the appropriate additives(especially compound additives) is of crucial importance to improve desulfurization efficiency and reduce the cost, while delaying the scale rate of calcium, and thus, theory basis was provided for the application of additives to industrial device. From now on, mass transfer mechanism of compound additives with desulfurization process should further be studied based on two-film theory. To search mass transfer-reaction process mechanism of SO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> absorbed by the lime slurry, one-dimensional model set up in this research had considered particl mass transfer and the reaction process with SO <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> dissolved in the liquid phase of the slaked lime particle, could predict the characteristic of mass transfer and change law of the desulfurization efficiency, and offered the theoretical foundation for the wet desulfurization technology. Meanwhile, it is proposed that hydromechanical performance study with additives enhancement should be especially strengthened in the desulfurization absorption tower in the future. And so, this will have important practical significance for the application of additives enhancement with WFGD.
