Abstract

A two-dimensional computer model has been applied in the simulation of an analytical inductively coupled plasma (ICP) discharge. The temperature and flow fields as well as the electromagnetic field in an argon ICP discharge operated at 40 MHz and 1 kW have been investigated. The results are compared with those obtained with an earlier model.
