Abstract
This work focuses on chemical preparation of structured silver film onto polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate and improvement in electroreduction activity of the as-prepared Ag/PET electrode material as cathode catalyst for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) reduction reaction (HPRR). The deposited silver film is homogeneous and has an open microporous structure, resulting in a high activity of the Ag/PET electrode for the HPRR. We show that the Ag/PET electrode can efficiently catalyze the HPRR with an onset potential of 0.1 V (vs.SCE).
