With the development of 5G mobile communication technology, how to apply 5G communication technology to power system has become a difficult problem. In this regard, the purpose of this paper is to study and analyze the application of 5G communication technology in some specific environments of power system under the background of rapid development of 5G communication technology. In this paper, the advantages and characteristics of 5G mobile communication technology are objectively described.
