Abstract

Objective The predictive nursing and routine nursing of two kinds of nursing care for patients with severe ICU value were compared, to seek the effective nursing methods in clinic. Methods A total of 96 ICU critical patients were selected from 2012 June to 2013 June and divided into observation group and control group by random number table, each group of 48 cases. The patients of control group underwent routine care while the patients of observation group received predictive nursing. Nursing efficacy, incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction rate were compared between two groups. Results In the observation group, the total efficiency, incidence of complication and patient′s satisfaction were 79.2%, 18.8%, and 93.8% compared 68.8%, 25.0% and 79.2% in the control group (χ2=12.30, 5.28, 5.23; P<0.05). The patients′ anxiety and depression scores in the observation group were lower than those of the control group after nursing (P<0.05). Conclusions The application of predictive nursing can improve clinical efficacy for critical patients in ICU, reduce the adverse reactions, and improve nursing satisfaction rate advantage.
