Abstract

Objective To investigate the application effect of tracking control method in the evaluation of nursing quality management , in order to provide the basis for the establishment of overall assessment standards for nursing quality .Methods The structured evaluation method of traditional quality control was used in the control group and the tracking control method was used in the observation group .The nursing quality in the hospital was evaluated at different time intervals .The comprehensive score of nursing quality and patients ’ satisfaction with nursing in each month were evaluated in the two groups .Results The comprehensive score of nursing quality in each month from July to December 2012 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group from July to December 2011 [(92.5 ±177;0.7) vs (89.0 ±177;0.6), (93.5 ±177;0.6) vs (90.0 ±177;0.6), (94.0 ±177;0.4) vs (91.0 ±177;0.6), (92.5 ±177;0.6) vs (89.0 ±177;0.9), (93.5 ±177;0.5) vs (90.5 ±177; 0.8), (92.0 ±177;0.3) vs (88.5 ±177;0.4)], and the differences were statistically significant (t=2.570, 2.862, 2.842,2.670, 3.014, 2.942, respectively; P <0.05).The result of patients ’ satisfaction survey in the observation group was considered satisfactory in 238 cases, basic satisfactory in 16 cases and dissatisfactory in 10 cases, and 225,15 and 24 cases in the control group , respectively, with statistically significant difference (Z=2.543 1, P<0.05).Conclusions Application of tracking control method in the evaluation of nursing quality management can improve the nursing quality , increase the patients ’ satisfaction with nursing , and promote the continuous improvement of nursing quality .
