Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of health education pathway in patients with intracranial aneurysm after interventional therapy. Methods From August 2018 to March 2019, a total of 80 patients diagnosed with intracranial aneurysm and undergoing stent-assisted embolization in neurosurgery of Tongji Hospital of Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology were selected as subjects by convenient sampling, they were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table with 40 cases in each group. The observation group adopted a health education pathway, and the control group adopted a conventional health education model. The two groups of patients were compared for the scores of Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale (QDTS) , Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) , Self-management Scale, and nursing satisfaction rates. Results After the implementation of the health education pathway, in addition to the required content, the dimensions and total scores of the QDTS, RHDS and Self-management Scale were higher than those in control group with statistically significant differences (P<0.05) . The nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group was 97.50% (38/40) , which was higher than the control group's 77.50% (31/40) , the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusions The implementation of health education pathway for patients with intracranial aneurysm after interventional therapyregulates the health education behavior of nursing staff, reflects the patient-centered concept, and is worthy of promotion and clinical application.
