Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in senile patients with bacteremia. Methods Totally 40 cases of elderly patients with bacteremia in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2015 were selected and assigned to the observation group and the control group randomly, 20 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine nursing method, patients in the observation group received nursing intervention. Intervention effect in two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 90.0%, significantly higher than that in the control group (70.0%) (P<0.05); the clinical symptom score in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05); the difference of symptoms in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The effect of comprehensive nursing intervention is ideal in the treatment process of elderly patients with bacteremia, and it is worthy of popularization and application.
