Abstract
ABSTRACT The paper introduces NDT technique popularized and application on raw material Control, component parts and finished product tested process in China Auotmobile industry. Not only reducing the production cost and material energy source Consuption, But also promoting the reforming of mechanical process, providing reliable examine method for improving quality Control of Automobile. The paper describes NDT's new technical process, new method and the work field which has been Studied, developed, Spreaded. These fields including Automatic line and Semi–automatic line on MT, ET for Crankshaft. Connecting rod, Camshaft, rear shaft bolt pin, axle–rod shape parts; x–ray auto–radiography & image units for casting blank and welding parts; Spreading and application on automatic ultrasonic C scanning & image analysis for Casting, forge parts, welding parts etc. applying on UT techncal for auto–bady then, using the method of UT.ET auto–ferquency therm oelectrom otive force test and evaluation the mechanical properties of metalparts (including Composition structure, nodularcast iron matrix and the forming, hardening depth, nitride layer and stress distribution of heat treatment parts etc.)
