Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, taking the adjustment of the orbit inclination of a sun-synchronous remote sensing satellite as an example, the influence of the orbit inclination drift on the sun-synchronous satellite is expounded, and the influence model of the inclination drift on the local time of the descending node of the sun-synchronous orbit satellite is given. The influence of different orbit inclination adjustment quantity on the local time of the descending node is compared, considering the satellite life, propellant consumption, a relatively suitable adjustment quantity is selected and the dynamics and process of inclination adjustment are given. Through several times of orbit inclination adjustment, the service life of the satellite is prolonged and achieves good benefits.
