Abstract

Objective To explore the application and effects of treatment combined with care mode for the elderly patients with long-term hospitalization. Methods A total of 60 hospitalized elderly patients were given the treatment-care combination mode. The GWB, UCLA scores before treatment, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months after treatment according to their different age and gender were collected and compared by repeated measuring analysis of variance and the differences before and after the nursing was compared. Results After the implementation of treatment-care mode 1 month, 3 months and 6 months later, the scores of GWB and UCLA were both higher than that before nursing(P<0.05), and the improvement of GWB scores of the age group under 75 years was better than that of the age group over 75 years old and the difference was statistically significant after 6 months' nursing (P<0.05). The UCLA score was both lower than that before nursing, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions The treatment-care combination mode can satisfy the elderly patients'multiple needs, improve their happiness index, reduce their loneliness, and improve their lilving quality.
