Abstract

Understanding personal level technology acceptance contributes toimproving social, business, and technological performance. The study dealswith the technology adoption propensity (TAP) among public administration students. The goal is to exploretheir approach to new technologies and to test the instrument for further application. The responses show a moderate level of technology adoption propensity. Significant differences were found in the TAP index scores and the proficiency of technology useby gender, study level,and age categories. The analysis confirmed that the original factor structure of the instrument is suggested for further utilization of the model and allows international comparisons of the results.
