Abstract

Increasing evidence suggests that neurovegetative features of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), specifically appetite changes, are associated with specific immunometabolic and neurobiological profiles. Although MDD in general has been associated with aberrant resting-state functional connectivity, it remains to be elucidated whether neurovegetative symptoms are associated with distinct neural connectivity patterns.
