Abstract
This appendix section contains a list of first Dii church employees namely the first catechists ,the first evangelists and the first pastors that occur in this book titled Communication and conversion in northern Cameroon: the Dii people and Norwegian missionaries, 1934-1960 . The story to be told in this book is not a naturalist detailed historical presentation of the work of the Norwegian missionaries. Neither is it an impressionist work of anthropology, describing the rites and symbolic practices of the Dii people. It is rather a mosaic of the Dii-mission intercultural encounter, made up by different pieces that together will form a larger picture. And seen from different angles, and in a different light, one might see different nuances in this picture. Th e final chapter has been entitled Communication, Conversion, and Conservation, indicating different theoretical approaches, focusing on both continuity and change.Keywords: Cameroon; Dii Church Employees; Norwegian missionaries
