Abstract
The purpose of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) shall be to provide facilities for conciliation and arbitration of investment disputes between Contracting States and nationals of other Contracting States in accordance with the provisions of this Convention. The seat of the ICSID shall be at the principal office of the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development.
