Abstract

The proposed approach remains valid even for a partial description of the objects in the training sample, when values of not all their criteria are given but only of some. In this case the experimental data are not represented by a Boolean matrix but by a ternary, but the search for elementary exclusions also reduces to finding elementary conjunctions of a definite rank, without being implied by these conjunctions, which are represented by rows of the given matrices. However, estimates of the confidence of the proposed hypotheses should be corrected in a suitable manner.
