Abstract

Opera as the essence of Chinese traditional culture, represents the charm and style of Chinese culture. And the using of animation & comic product to inherit traditional Chinese opera culture is not only an extension of traditional Chinese opera, but also a kind of innovation and development of traditional opera. But as for the current development of opera animation & comic product, the lack of distinction in the product appearance design results in overall image damage, reduce the audience's appreciation and it has encountering development resistance. For this reason, this paper taking opera animation & comic as an example and on the basis of opera and animation & comic cultural product definition, studies its appearance design from modeling design and color application of the cultural product, in order to fundamentally solve the distinction lacking of opera and animation & comic product appearance design and to further promote the sustainable development of animation & comic industry.
