ABSTRACTCapsule: In the migratory Lesser Spotted Eagle Clanga pomarina, colour rings and Global Positioning System transmitters indicated annual survival rates similar to other large raptors, but the rate suggested by wing-tags was significantly lower due to the higher rate of tag loss.
