Apparent ion-exchange current densities at LaF 3 single crystal membrane and Aliquat 336S PVC-membrane

Abstract

The apparent ion-exchange current densities at an LaF 3 single crystal membrane for F −, OH − and La 3+ ions, and at an Aliquat 336S PVC-membrane for NO − 3, Cl −, I − and SO 2− 4 ions have been determinated by the ac-impedance method. The results show that the potentiometric responses and selectivities correlate well with these key kinetic parameters.
