Abstract
Se presentan los resultados de las excavaciones realizadas en el sitio Yago (piedemonte oriental de Cumbres Calchaquíes), destacándose el patrón arquitectónico, inusual para los conocidos hasta el momento del Formativo en el área de estudio. Se presentan, asimismo, los resultados preliminares del análisis de los materiales recuperados en excavación (fauna, lítico, cerámica y de los microfósiles procedentes de artefactos de molienda). En base al análisis realizado se propone que Yago pudo tener una funcionalidad como espacio de almacenaje y un posterior uso para el depósitos de desechos
