Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology that combines object 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional into a real envireonment in real time. Department of Information Technology is an eight years old department that has basic amenity such as a building with several rooms where the learning processes take place. Application of Augmented Reality technology used in the design of applications Augmented Reality or AR Department of Information Technology-IT is designed to be user friendly. The design uses a marker of the rupiah currency aims to simplify the user to get information anywhere and anytime because it is universal. The performance of AR-IT application that users use the rupiah currency scanning the marker using Android smartphone then the application can display 3-dimensional objects and voice narration about Udayana University Information Technology building.

Gambaran umum perancangan aplikasi Augmented Reality Jurusan Teknologi Informasi (AR-TI) memuat objek 3-. Gambaran umum aplikasi Augmented Reality Jurusan Teknologi Informasi (AR-TI) dijelaskan pada Gambar 1 yaitu user menggunakan smartphone untuk membuka aplikasi yang berisi beberapa menu, kemudian kamera smartphone Android diarahkan ke media yang menjadi marker berupa mata uang rupiah, lalu kamera akan membaca marker tersebut dan jika diidentifikasi oleh library Vuforia, marker yang dideteksi oleh kamera akan menampilkan objek 3-dimensi (3D) dan suara, jika tidak berhasil diindetifikasi oleh library Vuforia maka akan kembali membuka aplikasi dan melakukan pengulangan pembacaan marker oleh kamera smartphone. Objek 3-dimensi (3D) merupakan keluaran atau output aplikasi AR-TI yang dirancang menggunakan software Maya. Objek 3-dimensi (3D) pada Gambar 2 merupakan hasil perancangan yang meliputi lantai 1, lantai 2, lantai 3, lantai 4, dan keseluruhan gedung.
