Abstract
Objective To investigate the new method of oral care.Methods Eighty-six patients underwent routine plastic repair maxillofacial surgery were randomly divided into oral rinse group (test group) of 44 cases and the traditional oral care group (control group) of 42 cases,The self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the subjective feeling of comfort of the patients,the nurse' s assessment and oral secretions bacteria cultured.Results The test group was superior to the control group in feeling of comfortable,cleaning effect; oral secretions bacterial culture test positive rate was 2.3％ in the test group,and 28.6％ in the control group; there was significant differences(P ＜0.05) ; Conclusions Oral rinseclean care in oral and maxillofacial surgery fills the lack of traditional oral care operation,and has a wide range,can be applied to a wound in the mouth,limited mouth opening,can not open mouth,spit restricted patients,such as jaw between traction,craniofacial bandage patients.
