Abstract

At all times, large-scale companies in the world market are more concerned with promoting ways and spending more resources that favor their gains in reducing expenses and reducing indicators that contribute to their final profitability. Therefore, the theme of reverse logistics is increasingly relevant within the scenarios of global companies, given the growing statistics of the common denominator, the waste of raw materials. Among the most expressive are the electronics sector, as its productive material, in addition to being expensive, sets a precedent for the debate on another topic, which would be electronic waste, it mixes with the concept of reverse logistics in the sense of a set of actions which involve a system of reutilization, reuse or recycling of waste treatment produced by the disposal of postconsumer products. Therefore, this present research dealt with a case study scenario, within a company in this sector that proposed to conceptualize reverse logistics through a specific internal project to reduce its numbers with material loss. The case, in addition to being an overwhelming result, demonstrated that the expectations generated by the company can be a reference factor for other projects.
