Abstract

The present study seeks to analyze Blockchain's Technology through the extraction of data and information obtained during the phase of implementation and execution directly from the scenario investigated. The blockchain is a decentralized transaction, a management science initially developed to support Bitcoin's virtual currency or criptomoeda transactions created in 2008. Studies carried out around the theme have been growing gradually, with the aim of obtaining results that objectively demonstrate methods of decentralization of processes. One of the foundations of greater research and study, in the face of this new digital tool, refers to the central peculiarities that ensure through security, anonymity and fairness of data, without any interference of third parties in the management of transactions. In this context, the main objective of this research is to observe facts and results from various ways of using Blockchain's Technology within the chain of purchases and related projects and, later, to analyze and interpret them through data obtained by groups of companies that seek innovation and greater control of their operations. The field research collected data within ERP projects, already in the implementation phase from the use of said Technology.
