El análisis por activación neutrónica en fuente isotópica, es una técnica nuclear que permite identificar y cuantificar elementos presentes en diferentes matrices, es un método sensible, que puede ser utilizado en investigaciones de interés científico y tecnológico. Objetivo: la investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el contenido de aluminio total en muestras de suelo a través de técnicas nucleares. Metodología: Para el estudio se utilizaron ocho muestras de suelos de la Región Oriental del Paraguay. Resultados: La técnica utilizada permitió determinar presencia de aluminio total en las ocho muestras de suelo analizadas, siendo el valor de aluminio más bajo de 4,70 g/100g y el más alto 18,1g/100g. Conclusiones: El análisis realizado a través de técnicas analíticas nucleares permitió cuantificar el contenido de aluminio total en los suelos en estudio.
