Abstract
The present study consists of an integrative review which aimed to survey Brazilian publications that make use of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP), identify the types of research undertaken on the subject, highlight the ICNP catalogs produced in Brazil and identify the scientific production according to Brazilian states. The descriptors used were Nursing process , Nursing diagnosis and keyword ICNP from 2005 to 2010 on database LILACS and MEDLINE. In the survey 21 studies categorized into three areas were included: research designed to bring up diagnostic and therapeutic interventions according to specific pathologies; Transcript of the language used by nurses cross mapped with the terms included in ICNP; Deployment / Evaluation of the nursing process, with the ICNP as a language of choice. It was not found any ICNP catalog, but research conducted in the context of its creation. It was concluded that it is necessary continued study on this issue in order to spread the use of this language in Brazil and to achieve the creation of catalogs CIPE, which are useful to the nursing process.

RESUMO O presente estudo consiste em uma revisão integrativa que objetivou levantar as publicações brasileiras usuárias da Classificação Internacional para a Prática de Enfermagem (CIPE), identificar os tipos de pesquisas desenvolvidas acerca da temática, destacar os catálogos CIPE brasileiros e mapear a produção científica de acordo com os estados federativos. A leitura dos artigos na íntegra e a análise comparativa destes permitiram fazer um delineamento dos tipos de estudo produzidos e categorizá-los em três áreas temáticas: 1Pesquisas desenvolvidas para levantar diagnósticos e/ou intervenções de acordo com patologias ou clínicas específicas; 2- Transcrição da linguagem utilizada pela enfermagem para posterior mapeamento cruzado com os termos constantes na CIPE; 3- Implantação/Avaliação do processo de enfermagem, tendo-se a CIPE como linguagem de escolha
