Abstract
Throughout his successful career, Christopher Hatwig, MS, BSPharm, FASHP, has been working steadily to improve access to affordable medications for the underserved. Hatwig is President of Apexus, a nonprofi t organization that manages the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) 340B Prime Vendor Program (PVP), which requires drug manufacturers to provide outpatient drugs to eligible safety-net organizations at a reduced price to ensure patient access to medications.
