Abstract
An aperture-coupled dielectric resonator antenna using a strip-line feed is investigated experimentally. As compared to the previous microstrip-line version, the new configuration eliminates the problems of backside radiation through the slot and frequency dispersion. The measured return loss, radiation patterns, and antenna gain of the new configuration are given in this letter. ©2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 24: 120–121, 2000.
