Abstract

A19-year-old woman presented with left upper extremity swelling and headache for 3 months. The swelling was intermittent, and often combined with paresthesia. She had no significant medical or surgical history. A computed tomography scan of the head and neck taken 2 months previously at another department showed no abnormality of the superficial and deep neck structures. On the physical examination, mild edema in the left shoulder and arm region was noted, without compromise of brachial or radial pulsation.
