Abstract
Summary This imaging report illustrates a rare and life-threatening extrinsic compression of left main stem by an aortic pseudo-aneurysm as a late complication of aortic valve replacement. Surgery was traditionally the only option but this elderly lady was deemed to be at unacceptable risk. Rescue percutaneous coronary intervention was performed successfully demonstrating the feasibility of palliative PCI in this type of cases.
