Aortic Endarterectomy and Aortobi-iliac Bypass for Aortic Occlusive Disease

Abstract

This video demonstrates a case of a patient with a coral reef atheroma of the visceral aorta along with a heavily calcified infrarenal aorta and nearly occluded left common iliac artery who presented with disabling left lower extremity claudication. To treat his disease we performed an aortic endarterectomy with aortobi-iliac bypass.
