Abstract
People who care for patients affected by neurocognitive disorders are at increased risk of developing stress and burnout. The workload has experienced a notable increase during the pandemic. In our observational study, we assessed the presence of anxiety, burnout and compassion fatigue in caregivers (family members and health professionals (HCW)). We also evaluated the presence of mental disorders as well as anxiety and depressive disorder.
