Abstract

This short contribution by Antonio Invernizzi focuses on a type of bronze coins produced by the city of Ecbatana during the rule of the Parthian king Vologases I (Sellwood 19802, type 70.15). On the reverse, this series presents the figure of a goddess between two columns, who has been so far identified with Tyche/Nana/Anahita.
