Abstract

In this article a method is proposed for anti-windup compensator (AWC) design for linear cascaded systems. Instead of using the conventional methods for designing AWC, we used the decoupled based architecture to design the AWC gains for the saturated linear cascades systems. The global sector condition is employed to derive the necessary condition for the global exponential and L 2 exponential stability of the proposed AWC schema. Furthermore a regional AWC design conditions are derived applicable for stable as well as unstable cascaded systems. Finally, simulation example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed anti-windup compensator (AWC) techniques for linear cascaded control systems.
