AbstractAnalysis of the hexane-soluble fraction of Vicoa indica (L.) DC (Asteraceae) led to the isolation and characterization of epilupeol and epilupeol acetate which exhibited pronounced antiviral activity against Ranikhet disease virus (RDV) in chick embryo.
