Abstract

This paper introduces the impact of single event upset effect in the space environments on high-performance digital signal process system. According to the special feature of high-performance digital signal process system, this paper simplifies and improves the traditional method. It completes the anti-single event upset (SEU) effect in the space environments software design that suitable for the on-board high-performance digital signal process system, including the two-level simplified “pyramid” structure, constant data triple module redundancy, detection of code area in SRAM of DSP and self-restart, periodically detection and restart, dynamic partial reconfiguration. Taking an on-board digital communication system as an example, this paper evaluates the effect of above-mentioned design in application according to the analysis of the performance and the data of the on-orbit system.
