Abstract

Computer modeling of a one-layer antireflecting coating for cascade solar cells based on mixtures containing the AlxGa1 − xAs heterostructure was performed. The modeling results demonstrated that a mixture of Si oxides and GaAs is optimal. The integral transmittance factor exceeds 92.6% for all the selected concentrations of the components. It was concluded that the one-layer coatings based on the oxide-semiconductor mixtures have technological advantages over conventional coatings because, with the same optical characteristics, the former coatings have better mechanical characteristics.
