Abstract
Racism is a public health crisis that has major effects on the health and wellness of people particularly during sensitive periods of development—from conception to the first 5 years of life. Clinicians caring for children and families during this period need to be equipped with the latest evidence-based clinical literature and practice to best serve individuals who are disproportionately affected by the effects of racism during the early years.
