Abstract

This chapter discusses the Reye's syndrome and aspirin. Ever since the association between aspirin and Reye's syndrome was first suggested, the evidence has been challenged; a series of artefacts and methodological errors, it was suggested, might have produced misleading results. The chapter explains the case study on the topic, improvised with adhoc procedures. It also discusses Reye's syndrome and its gastrointestinal effects, effects and urinary system, nervous system, and special senses. It also discusses aniline derivatives and its effect on hematological, renal, and liver functioning.
