Abstract
This paper highlights the antifungal activities of the leaf extract of Clitoria ternatea L. against Fusarium oxysporum ciceri. T he experiment al procedures include study of the activit ies of some ma rker enzymes of seeds of Pisum sativum L. T he leaf extract of C litoria showed antifun gal activity in relation to some enzyme activities. Fungus infestation increased activity level of some stress enzymes l ike catalase, peroxidase and Superoxide Dismutase which was controlled by the administration of the plant extract. Furthermore the activ ities of amylase, protease and dehydrogenase were decr eased by the fungal infestation which was overcome by application of the plant extract. The findings of the work thus supports that the formulation can be used as an a ntifungal agent against the fungus to overcome the de leterious effect caused by it on the pea seeds.
