Abstract

Antiferromagnetic resonance experiments have been conducted on NaMnF3 at frequencies from 31 to 37 GHz in magnetic fields up to 18 K Oe, and at temperatures ranging from 4.2°K to 67°K. The principal observed resonances may be qualitatively explained by the simple antiferromagnetic model as modified by the addition of antisymmetric exchange and/or crystalline anisotropic canting terms. In addition to antiferromagnetic resonances, several highly structured resonances (probably not antiferromagnetic) were observed for temperatures below 10°K.
