Abstract

The Hubbard model is studied on the triangular lattice using Hartree Fock approximation. Due to the frustration of the lattice many antiferromagnetic states can be stabilized, depending on the parameters. We study the stability of a mixed structure in which magnetic and non-magnetic sites are present : such a structure can be obtained when U is not too large as a consequence of frustration. It is shown that the anisotropy also plays an important role for stabilizing this mixed structure.
