Abstract
Terahertz Emitters In article number 2204373, Xiaojun Wu, Caihua Wan, Jimin Zhao, Sai Chen, and co-workers demonstrate efficient terahertz generation from a unique antiferromagnetic–ferromagnetic (IrMn3|CoFeB) heterostructure without an external magnetic field, using femtosecond laser pulse excitation. This can be attributed to the exchange bias or interfacial exchange coupling effect. Such field-free THz spintronics emitters can be more easily integrated with optical devices, shining light on the development of spintronic THz optoelectronic devices.
