Abstract

An antiferromagnetic correlation term beyond the RKKY interaction is derived from the Anderson model by the Gutzwiller projection technique. The competition between the Kondo coupling and antiferromagnetic correlation in heavy-fermion systems is discussed. The propagators, spectrum and dynamic spin susceptibility show that magnetic instability may occur at low frequencies.
